Department of Labor Investigation Representation

Community Care Facility Labor Law specialist to accompany or represent facility audits or investigation by the federal or state Department of Labor.

Remote Labor Compliance Consultation

This consultation is a review of the facility’s current practices by a Community Care Facility Labor Law specialist. The review includes a look at records such as payroll, schedules and time sheets to ensure compliance. All documentation is sent to the consultant and a written report with the findings and recommendations is provided. Additionally, an optional telephone conference with the consultant is available to discuss the findings.

Labor Compliance Consultation

This consultation is an in-person review of the facility’s current practices by a Community Care Facility Labor Law specialist. The review includes a look at records such as payroll, schedules and time sheets. Current federal and state labor law (including Wage Order 5) and other required aspects are explained and assistance in transitioning the facility is provided. Services include employer-employee agreements, time sheets, and employer posting requirements.

Facility Start-Up Consultation

Assistance in all aspects of opening a new Community Care Facility. Services may include assistance in determining location/community need, responding to Regional Center Request for Proposal (RFP), Community Care Licensing Application process, Regional Center vendor approval process, business model/plan, setting up facility paperwork, etc.
